Seafood Aglio Olio

TCC's seafood aglio is fantastic! It has always been our favie at TCC. The pasta is done al-dente (just like how hubby does it at home). Yummy... just the right amount of spice and flavour. Thumbs up!

Beef Steak on Crispy Puff Pastry

Crispy is a term used too loosely to describe this dish. The puff pastry was not at all crispy, it was in fact almost soggy. But the beef was done just the right medium. I've always wanted to try this because it's the most expensive on the menu. Thank goodness for the birthday 50% off, I wouldn't have paid $24 for it otherwise. 

Spicy Hot-wings

Very spicy hot sauce, very yummy. But the wings were sent back coz they looked like scrawny malnourished chickens, the ones that came back were a lot juicier. :)

MBS is fast becoming my favourite place to frequent because I'm sooo tired of Orchard Road. I love that we can claim free parking, the food and shopping choices, plus if I'm bored I can always get a free sampan ride. In Orchard, sampan rides may only be available when it rains.

At Chanel MBS, we met a fantastic fragrance specialist named Jean. It was such an intoxicating experience talking to her because she possesses such deep passion for scents! Eugene and I have been invited to a scent discovery journey with her. Will share more about the experience after we have attended the session ;)

As much as I wish to expand my Chanel polish collection to that of my OPI, the price of 1 double-C polish can easily get me 3 of the OPI ones. Hence my collection is limited to only a few limited edition ones.

'How I Spent my Summer Vacation' at VivoCity summed up my Saturday with dearie. Mel Gibson has a knack for weird story lines that manages to work. Apocalypto is on my list of DVDs to own.  Hope that you guys had a great Saturday too! :)
