Updates

Apologies for the lack of updates, but there's so much going on in my life, I don't even know where to begin!

Key collection is in 2 days time, but last week we were soo excited, we snuck up and took turns hugging our gate. Yes, hugged!

Proud homeowner

Obviously delirious with excitement

I can't believe we'll be opening the door to our new place in 48 hours! I'm super psyched that renovation can finally start and my dear coffee machine can finally be put to use!! And my WMF pots and utensils...*shrieks!!*

It is after much thought that we have decided to sell our precious baby to get a bigger one. Telling you that my heart isn't broken is an absolute lie, because it took me a long time to come to terms with this decision. She's my first car, my family's first car for that matter, and I can still remember the first time I drove her out of the showroom. My hands were icy cold because it's the first time I've driven on the main road in 5 years and I was beyond scared. But yet I was so happy and excited!

We've had so many wonderful memories with her, from trips to Port Dickson to midnight Wanton Mee runs. There's a constant lump in my throat as the deadline towards tomorrow draw closer.  I know it's something that I have to come to terms with eventually. I can only hope that she goes to a good home with new owners who will love her as much as I have.

Our first family pic

Took a short trip with my mum to HK because I doubt I'll have much free time to go on another trip with her. I've had so much fun food hunting and visiting new places! The food we had were so so good, and really inexpensive! Putting 2 women in HK is not a good thing. We came back with a baggage excess of 13kg and was forced by the counter staff to repack our luggage. So embarrassing.

Glorious food of HK!

All in all, a crazy crazy 2 weeks! I'll be back to update on tile choices and key collection soon!!

Cheers to a short week ahead! ^^
